More input is not the same as more clarity. When each new piece of information opens five more possibilities, the problem is no longer a lack of data but selection.

Signal is a difference that can change a model, decision or next move. Everything else may be true and still irrelevant now.
The system must know when information is sufficient so it can stop collecting and start acting.
MonkOS separates the volume of input from its function. If new information does not change the assessment, relation or next move, it may belong in the archive — not in the active field of attention.
Coherence appears when enough relevant parts can remain connected through change. That is not the same as possessing every available piece of data.
We do not try to infer a cause from one sentence. We observe the relation among inputs, attention, capacity, time and the next move — precisely enough for you to check what changes.
This is not a recipe. It is a small experiment meant to produce new information about your pattern.
Without a question, there is no criterion of relevance. First define the decision, model or next move.
Look for information that can change the direction in practice. If it changes nothing, it is probably not signal for this moment.
Move useful but currently non-operational material out of the active field. An archive is not a loss; it is a boundary of attention.
Information selection does not mean ignoring evidence you dislike. A good criterion must also leave room for data that can change your initial assumption.
These terms are not labels for a person. They name relations and states that you can continue to observe.
